How To Join
Register as either a Project Manager (to post a project) or Developer (to bid on and complete a project).
Registration is free for both Project Managers and Developers. To register click on the "Register" link at the top of any page.
After registration, you can manage your account build your profile, tracking projects, customizing your preferences.
You can change your registration information, such as your default email address, from the Account Manager page.
If you expect to need to both post projects aswell as bid on other projects you can also Upgrade your account to a 'Project Manager AND Developer' account, there is a nominal fee of $2.50 to upgrade your account.
Developers Profile
Developers are encouraged to complete a profile. By completing a profile you can give examples of your experience to potential Project Managers that could be looking to pick your bid for a project. Your profile can be added during the registration process or by clickick the Edit Info link on the Account Manager page.
When you post a project (Project Managers):
You describe the project you need in as much detail as you can and Developers bid to do the work. You then choose the bid you want, and the project begins. Check bids received, choose the winning Developer, communicate with them and send final payment.
To bid on projects (Developers)
Developers can bid on any project that is listed on the site, when placing a bid ensure that the amount and timescale of your bid is realistic. If you have any questions about the project then ask the Project Owner via the Message Board system BEFORE placing your bid.
What is Rating?
Rating is a history of how a Project Manager or Developer has been evaluated by others. Project Managers and Developers have overall rating statistics as well as individual ratings for specific projects.
What are my obligations once I post a project?
You have no obligation to choose a Developer for any project you post and there are no charges (Unless it's a Featured project). When you do choose a Developer, you should reach an agreement regarding payment and project requirements, the Developer will have the option of Accepting or Denying the project. If the Developer denies the project you can choose another Developer whom has bid on your project or close the project.
Once you have chosen a Developer and they have accepted your project Freelancer Projects fee's are deducted from your Freelancer Projects account.
What is a Gold Member
Any Project Manager or Developer can apply for Gold Membership by completing the form at http://freelancerprojects.cgiscripts4u.com/Gold.html. The benefits to becoming a Gold Member are :- 50% discount on ALL fee's paid to Freelancer Projects

 next to your userid on projects you have posted or bids you have placed highlighting the fact that you are serious about promoting yourself and/or your services.
What are the current Fee's?
The fee for a Project Manager to post a project is 5% of the winning bid amount or USD $5 (whichever is greater), this fee is deducted from your Freelancer Projects account once the chosen Developer has accepted the Project.
The fee for a Developer to accept a project is 5% of their bid amount or USD $5 (whichever is greater), this is deducted from your Freelancer Projects account once you accept a Project you have been chosen for.
The fee for a Project Manager to post a Featured project is a flat fee of USD $20 which is charged when the project is posted. No further fee's are charged to neither the Project Manager or Developer.
Gold members recieve a 50% discount on the above fee's
How and when must Freelancer Projects fee's be paid
Fee's are deducted from your Freelancer Projects account once the Developer has accepted the project or if the project is a Featured project the fee is deducted at the time the project is posted.
You can deposit funds into your Freelancer Projects account at any time via PayPal, Moneybookers or check via mail but your account MUST have enough funds in to cover the fee's at the time they are deducted from your account.
